CHILDREN'S MINISTRY Julie Rawls Director of Children's Ministries Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:13 The staff at Monticello Baptist Church believes that our children are a gift to us to unwrap, and in partnership with the parents, we are to introduce them, teach them, and nurture them in the ways and admonitions of the Lord. We believe that parents can strengthen our ministry by relating spiritual truths to the daily lives of their children and encourage them along their walk with Christ. We also want to encourage appropriate behavior in God’s House. The greatest relationship children will ever develop is one with Jesus Christ. So with these goals in mind, come partner with us in love for our children’s future! Julie |
